CVE-2021-4238
Last modified
CVE-2021-4238 is a critical-severity vulnerability rated 9.1/10 on the CVSS scale. Randomly-generated alphanumeric strings contain significantly less entropy than expected. The RandomAlphaNumeric and CryptoRandomAlphaNumeric functions always return strings containing at least one digit from 0 to 9. EPSS estimates a 1.32% chance of exploitation in the next 30 days.
Description
Randomly-generated alphanumeric strings contain significantly less entropy than expected.
