CVE-2022-42932 is a high-severity vulnerability rated 8.8/10 on the CVSS scale. Mozilla developers Ashley Hale and the Mozilla Fuzzing Team reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 105 and Firefox ESR 102.3. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. Description
Mozilla developers Ashley Hale and the Mozilla Fuzzing Team reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 105 and Firefox ESR 102.3. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 106, Firefox ESR < 102.4, and Thunderbird < 102.4.
