Last modified

CVE-2026-116750 is a medium-severity vulnerability rated 6.5/10 on the CVSS scale. The VikRentCar Car Rental Management System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to blind SQL Injection via the 'catid' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.10 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. EPSS estimates a 0.26% chance of exploitation in the next 30 days.

Description

The VikRentCar Car Rental Management System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to blind SQL Injection via the 'catid' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.10 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. A Contributor-level user can store a malicious block via the REST API in a pending post and trigger server-side rendering by previewing that post, bypassing wp_magic_quotes since the attribute is sourced from post_content via parse_blocks rather than a superglobal.
